I am a PhD student in School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University. I received my Bachelor of Mathematics from Wuhan University in 2007, and my Master of Computer Software and Theory from East China Normal University in 2012. Full CV

Research

I am interested in social network mining and probabilistic machine learning. I am under the supervision of Prof. Feida Zhu and Prof. Jing Jiang. Currently I am studying machine learning in Carnegie Mellon University as an international exchange student under the supervision of Prof. Alexander J. Smola. My research interest focuses on detecting bursty topics from large volume of tweet stream in real time.
