About Me
Payas is a (n>4) Ph.D candidate in School of Information System
at Singapore Managment University.
His research focuses on Information Security and Trust in general.
Currently, his primary research interests revolve around human aspects of security, biometric security and security
issues related to mobile devices. He is also involved in many research projects related to human subjects and novel user authentication.
Since arriving at Singapore Management University, he has started doing research in cryptographic
key generation using skin conductance to fight against coercion attacks.
He is also exploring secure and usable mobile phone authentication techniques.
He is being advised by Asst. Prof. Debin Gao.
Recently, he was a visiting scholar in Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University.
He was working with Prof. Adrian Perrig, CyLab, CMU.
Payas graduated from The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India in 2008.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Communication and Computer Engineering.
Previously, he has worked on Intrusion Detection Systems and Malware analysis.
