I am now pursuring Master degree in Singapore Management University, under the supervision of professor Lim Ee Peng. My research topic is on Mining Antagonistic Sub-Communities.
I am interested generally in data mining. More specifically, I do research in assocation rule mining, data clustering, classification, social network trust predicting, collaborative filtering, text classification and natural language processing.
Before attending SMU for graduate school, I studied Computer Engineering in Nanyang Technological University. I did my final year project(FYP) with professor Ng Wee Keong. My FYP proposes a novel grid based clustering algorithm. It considers each dataset as a point in multi-dimensional space and uses grid to represent these data points. The grids go through a series of split and merge operations before they are accurate enough to cover the full information of the data points. I have also done some research work in unmanned viehcle auto-navigation with professor Alex Tay in my URECA project.
