I am currently a PhD candidate of School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University (SMU). My research interest is on Data Mining. I am under the supervision of Prof. Ee-Peng Lim, and also working closely with Prof. Feida Zhu and Prof. Hwee Hwa Pang. Before transferring to SMU, I spent my first year of PH.D at Nanyang Technological University,  advised by Prof. Ee-Peng Lim.

 

I got my M.S. in Computer Science from Asian Institute of Technology under the scholarship awarded by the China Scholarship Council. My supervisors there were Prof. Peter Haddawy and Prof. Paul Janecek

1. Anomaly/outlier detection, especially detecting anomalous collections/groups/sets/clusters

2. Spammer detection on web data

3. OLAP on graphs

4. Faceted search, exploratory search

5. Visual analytics
