Zhenlin Yang is Professor of Economics and Statistics, School of Economics, Singapore Management University. He is Fellow of the Spatial Econometrics Association, Associate Editor, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and  Associate Editor of the Journal of Spatial Econometrics.

He had previously worked for the National University of Singapore, and Simon Fraser University, Canada. He obtained his PhD in Statistics from University of Alberta, Canada.

His current research interests are: Spatial Econometrics, Bootstrap Methods for Refined Inferences, Panel Data Models, and Event-Time Analysis.
