Overall
Information
--------
The postdocs will be
part of our team in School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS) at
Singapore Management University (SMU) for the Secure Mobile Centre (SMC) and
National Satellite of Excellence (NSoE) to focus on cutting-edge research in
software and system security. A goal of the project is to enhance
kernel-oriented security analysis, testing, and certification with a widened
code coverage, strengthen malware analysis with a deepened understanding of
underlying kernel activities, and automate exploit generation, detection, and
prevention.
Expected outputs for
the positions are research papers and prototype tools for kernel emulation,
symbolic execution, malware analysis, exploit generation and prevention. Each
contract is often one year and renewable based on performance. The working
language is English.

analysis techniques (especially symbolic executions) for automated testing
& debugging
* Familiar with system
and software security. Advantageous to have experience on x86 virtualization
related research.

Bachelor and/or Master Degree holders.
